LIMITED WARRANTY

UIC, Inc., Joliet, Illinois warrants that the product enclosed with this Limited Warranty Statement will conform to manufacturer’s specifications and will be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one (1) year from date of invoice.

Should your UIC product prove defective during this period, please contact UIC Europe to obtain a return authorization number prior to returning defective items to UIC, Inc. at 16720 Cherry Creek Court, Joliet, IL 60433. Items returned to UIC Inc. should be securely packaged in their original container or equivalent and should include all original documentation (including a copy of this Limited Warranty). Items returned to UIC in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Limited Warranty will be promptly repaired or replaced without charge for parts or labor.

UIC, Inc. assumes no liability under this Limited Warranty for products damaged or destroyed as the result of misuse, abuse, neglect, improper installation by other than qualified UIC personnel, failure to perform routine maintenance, and/or natural disasters. All costs associated with the return of items to UIC (including costs related to shipping and insurance) are the customer’s responsibility and if the claimed defect cannot be verified or reproduced by authorized UIC service personnel, additional costs may be incurred.

THE WARRANTY AND REMEDY PROVIDED ABOVE ARE INCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES. UNLESS STATED HEREIN, ANY STATEMENTS OR REPRESENTATIONS MADE BY ANY OTHER PERSON OR FIRM ARE VOID. THE DURATION OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE. EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN THIS WRITTEN WARRANTY, NEITHER UIC, INC., NOR ITS AFFILIATES, AGENTS, OR OTHER REPRESENTATIVES SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS, INCONVENIENCE, OR DAMAGE, INCLUDING DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR INCONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, RESULTING FROM THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE UIC, INC., PRODUCT, WHETHER RESULTING FROM BREACH OF WARRANTY OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts and some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation and exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
